Pro-Life Memorial Dedication
Despite Fierce Weather, Dedication and Reception Draw Many Believers

A “Work In Progress” for almost six years, the Memorial to the Unborn was dedicated on June 7, 2008, by Bishop Perry. With a tornado lurking outside, our Pastor and Knights of Columbus Marian Council Chaplain, Fr. Kozak, wisely elected to have the dedication in the back of the church.

The monument was initiated by Past Grand Knight Rich Pozdol. “We owe Rich and other council members much gratitude for their perseverance to this point. A job well done,” said Grand Knight-elect Jim Mullaney. “Thanks also to all the volunteers who helped put the reception together,” he added. “If more people had bathing suits with them, there would have been an even bigger crowd at the reception!”
