Father
Dan Jarosewic
Associate Pastor
To
you, the Parishioners of St. Joseph:
As I begin
my priestly ministry in your parish, let me give you some of my
background.
I grew up
on the South Side at St. John of God Parish and played ball in
Sherman Park. I went through the Seminary schools for 12 years
and was ordained in 1971.
I have served
at St. Constance, St. Camillus and St. Mary Star of the Sea in
Chicago; St. Linus and St. Catherine of Alexandria in Oak Lawn;
and at St. Albert the Great in Burbank.
I am and always
have been a Sox fan.
I am also
a parish priest, now your parish priest. I have no outside jobs
or interests to compete with my ministry with and for you. This
is because I enjoy being a parish priest.
It will take
a little time for us to get to know each other — my prayer
for us is that we take that time.
It’s
good to be here,
Father Dan Jarosewic
