CATHOLICS, COME HOME!

As you know, the Archdiocese of Chicago, in conjunction with several surrounding dioceses, is sponsoring an initiative called “Catholics, Come Home!” The purpose of this project is to invite Catholics who seldom or never practice their Faith to come home to the Church. You’ve probably seen the professionally made ads on television. They are quite good.

A very vital part of “coming home” is the reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. 22 parishes in the Archdiocese have been designated as special sites to Catholics to come home by confession. St. Joseph’s has the honor of being named one of those sites. Priests will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation here on these dates and times:

Sunday, January 24th
from 2:00—4:00 PM
and
Monday, February 1st
from 7:00 — 9:00 PM

Besides the Parish priests, a visiting priest will also be available for Confession. There will also be printed confession aids available to any who might need them.

Please be kind enough to pass this information on to any who might be interested. Also, be sure to keep those who will be receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation during these special moments in your thoughts and prayers.
